Honor Mission
James Roy Todd, Jr, Veteran
US Air Force – Vietnam
MULTI-CITY, Texas – March 14, 2025

About the Mission:

Captain Todd served Jan 1970 – May 1977 as a B52 Bomber pilot. Awards and decorations include at least the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.

Instructions:

Riders will stage at in the parking lot to be briefed about our hero and this service. The map link should indicate the entrance in the NW area of the property, facing Parchman Street near Glenview (which is currently under construction to the west). We will then establish the flag line and prepare to receive Captain Todd, his family and friends. Once the service begins, we’ll return the flags to the support vehicle where we’ll have the safety briefing and prepare to accompany the procession to the cemetery. Anyone not participating in the procession may proceed to the cemetery.

 

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Instructions:

Riders not participating in the procession will stage at the DFWNC Visitor’s Center for a short briefing. Any additional honor bikes needed will be selected at this time. Remaining riders will then proceed to the designated shelter to set the flags and await the arrival of captain todd, family, and friends. Note: We are asked to standby to possibly serve as pallbearers with the 3 grandsons. Our certificate will be presented following Military Honors. Riders will otherwise stand “tall and silent” during the committal service, after which, flags will be returned to the storage locker. We will then have a short debriefing and be dismissed.
