CWO 1 John H. Bundy. He enlisted in 1929 in the United States Army Air Forces and was stationed in the Philippines, 1941-1942. He was captured during the Japanese invasion and survived the Bataan March. CWO 1 Bundy was taken as a POW and was transferred to the Oryoku Maru (“hell ship”), which was sunk on December 15, 1944. Although his remains were never identified, he is memorialized on the “Walls of the Missing” at the Manila American Cemetery in the Philippines.

Briefing at 11:15 AM at American Legion building. A flag line will be formed for the arrival of family members. After completion of the service, there will be a very short escort to the Walstonburg Cemetery, where a flag line will be set for the rendering of Military Honors.
