John Peterson is a United States Army veteran, John enlisted and served from March 06, 1962, till January 21, 1965, active duty
and was transferred to the Army reserves till March 05, 1968, and received his Honorable Discharge. John earned the rank of
SP4 and a pay grade E-4 on May 14, 1964, and his MSO was 911.17 Medical Specialist. His most significant duty station was
HQ Company 3 rd Battalion 187 th Infantry. John attended many training courses including Medical Corpsmen, Medical Specialist,
Basic Combat, Military Justice, CBR and Code of Conduct Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. While in the service of his
country John received the Parachutist Badge and Expert Rifle Badge.

It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we honor and respect the sacrifices this hero made for our nation.
