Stephen S. Page, 75, died peacefully Friday, January 24, 2025, at Northern Lights Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. Steve as he is known by his family and “Doc” by longtime friends
Steve was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving honorably for more than 20 years. The majority of these years he served as a Special Forces Green Beret, and as a Medic. He was not only a medic he also taught the Q-Course. He was awarded the Bronze Star along with the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and National Defense Service Medal. He served in multiple overseas conflicts.
He devoted his life for his Country and was proud and honored to have served. After his military service, Steve dedicated himself to his family and community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication.
He was very involved and dedicated to the Special Olympics and worked with them for many years. Steve was a dedicated PGR member until his health prevented him from attending missions.
An Army Honor Guard Service and a celebration of life will occur on Saturday, May 24th, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the VFW, 41 Canoe Club RD, Hampden, ME 04444.

For those wishing to ride to Hampden in a group we will leave the Irving Station, 5 Denali Wy, Augusta, ME 04330 (This is at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Route 3/202 in Augusta), at 12:30 PM. We will travel Route 202.
