Matthew Harold Geiss, born on February 24, 1958, passed away on May 7, 2026. He served in the US Marine Corps for 11 years. Awards include GCM x3, Meritorious Unit Citation, Navy Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Rifle and Pistol Sharpshooter Badges. After the service he worked in corporate retail.
Matthew was a griller and BBQ enthusiast. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, and traveling; bringing him peace and adventure.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, three sons, one sister, and twelve grandchildren.
