About the Mission:

Mr. Williams proudly served in the US Air Force as a Pastry Chef, from 1971 until 1974, achieving the rank of Sgt. After leaving active duty, he attended Long Beach City College. As a civilian he worked at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. Later he moved back to Beaufort County and worked at Parris Island, in the transportation field. He was very involved with his community and church. He served as a Sunday School
Superintendent, was on the Usher Board as well as a Trustee of his church. As a young man in Bluffton, he attended the Michael C Riley School. He was an active alumnus of the school

Brief: 9:15 AM, following the briefing we will await the arrival of the hearse and will render honors as Mr. Williams is moved into the church.
Viewing: 10:00 AM, for friends, the family should arrive a bit before
Service: 11:00 AM, following the beginning of the service we will secure and prepare for the short escort to the cemetery

Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.

Instructions:

It is best to join the escort from the church, which is close by.
The cemetery is named The Buck Island Cemetery, which doesn’t show on the map, however it is next to The Bluffton Cemetery, which is visible on a map. The interment time will vary based on the length of the service, but is estimated to be between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will form a flag-line leading to and at the gravesite. Upon completion of the service, we will secure
